This
traditional lodge which is a family home is situated in sparsely
populated Upper Strathnairn, sometimes referred to as 'the lake
district of Inverness', and has a wonderful panoramic view across
Loch Ruthven. The area is ideal for the walker, birdwatcher, cyclist
and fisherman. There is an RSPB nature reserve nearby. Pony trekking
and riding available just a few miles away.
The lodge would also make
an ideal base from which to explore the Loch Ness area and many
other areas of natural beauty and historic interest are within
easy reach. Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, is only twenty
minutes away and has a wide variety of shops, restaurants and leisure
facilities, including theatre, cinema and aquadome.
