A
uniquely beautiful 18th century Georgian House, elegantly and traditionally
furnished, with log fires in the drawing room, a playroom and
teenagers den,
making it the ideal choice for family holidays. In an accessible
yet secluded position, sheltered by trees and a walled garden,
the house is surrounded by an estate which stretches from the forbidding
shores of Loch Ness, famous for its elusive monster, through wooded
glens studded with lochs to the Monadhliath Mountains.
This diversity of ground makes it the natural habitat for many species of wildlife, including red, sika and roe deer, grouse and ptarmigan. Grebe and divers can be spotted on the numerous and varied hill lochs which are also available for swimming and fishing.
