The
wonderful family home of Grewshill sits on top of the world, immersed
in highland Perthshire scenery, with heather moor, lochs and ancient
pine tress, yet is only six miles from the ancient Burgh of Dunkeld
on the banks of the River Tay. The large kitchen in the traditional
house has a sun room extension with a wide window seat offering
spectacular views over the hills. The house sleeps 4 while another
6 people can be accommodated.

Ground Floor. Hall for coats, family dining kitchen with sun lounge extension, double bedroom with whb, bathroom with shower over bath.
First Floor. Drawing room with grand piano and open fire, twin bedroom with whb.
New Cabin. 2 twin bedrooms with whb, bathroom with shower over bath.
Old Cabin. Twin bedroom with whb, bathroom with shower over bath.
Activities:
This central area of Perthshire has many places of interest to visit, including the Cathedral and National Trust Little Houses at Dunkeld, Birnam Wood made famous in Shakespeares Macbeth, Blair Castle the base of the only private army in Europe and Scone Palace, ancient crowning place of the Kings of Scotland. Gleneagles is under one hours drive away, there is a challenging 18 hole golf course at Dunkeld and a championship course at Rosemount, Blairgowrie (8 miles). Dunkeld hosts various music and art events throughout the summer and has a good selection of shops including hairdresser and beauty parlour, a small super market, bank and several hotels and cafes offering meals.
