across the hills, fish for wild brown trout in hill lochs or
simply relax and enjoy the setting, perhaps, catching a glimpse
of an eagle or a hear of roe or fallow deer. For those
who wish to explore further afield, Dunkeld has a magnificent
Cathedral and National Trust Little Houses, art and music festivals
and antique shops. Blair Castle, ancient seat of the Dukes
of Atholl, Glamis Castle birthplace of the late Queen Mother
and Scone Palace, once the crowning place of the Kings of Scotland
are all close by. The fair city of Perth offers excellent
shopping and restaurant facilities, a new concert hall, cinema,
theatre and leisure pool.
