Set at the foot of a wooded hillside
on a bend of the River Alness above Loch Morie in the 17,500 acre
Kildermorie Estate, Meall Mor Lodge is private and secluded, yet
under an hour from Inverness.
The spacious
lodge provides luxurious, centrally heated accommodation complemented
by open log fires in the reception rooms, furnished throughout
with period furniture (including a Broadwood grand piano),
an office with e-mail/internet access
and featuring a cook's delight of a modern kitchen.
There are 10 individually-styled bedrooms, each with an
en-suite bathroom and endless hot water, of which five are doubles
and five twins (one handicapped equipped) and a large drying/boot
room.
Meall Mor Lodge
makes an ideal base for family, house or sporting parties from
which to enjoy the heather-clad hills, moor and lochs of the Estate.
This is the natural habitat of red, sika and roe deer, eagle, osprey
and falcon plus owls, pine-marten and otter. Fishing from boat
or bank on the five lochs (rods and life-jackets available) is
included.
Also available are two cottages, with full facilities (including
central heating), one sleeping two adults and two children and
the other sleeping two adults.

Castles at Cawdor, Dunrobin and Urquhart.
Sea fishing, dolphin and seal watching. Included:
